Last year our company celebrated its fifteenth birthday. On this occasion, Managing Director Slavomir Cifrík enounced a competition to make the brand UNIPRASTAV, Ltd. more visible. The prizes to compete for were interesting too. First prize was one thousand euros and second of seven hundred and fifty euros. The task was simple, but concealed a spirit of creativity and resourcefulness. The evaluation took place earlier this year. Top results were achieved by pupils attending a school club at Elementary School Dobšinský.

Jana Polakovičová, Headmistress of Dobšinský Elementary School in Prievidza said:
"We are trying to seize every opportunity to obtain support and financial help to renovate the school. That is why our students, led by Dagmar Skoncová, took part in the competition which aimed to raise the profile of brand UNIPRASTAV, Ltd. more visible. At first it seemed to be difficult for us but there are skillful educators, who like working with children, among whom we also rank Mrs Skoncová. They rose to the occasion and as the evidence won the first prize in the competition. We warmly welcomed the competition results as all schools must do their best to get own financial suport to run the school. The financial suport of one thousand euros won will be used for school interior renovation. "

Milan Rybanský, Head of Education Department of the Municipal Council in Prievidza:
"The event organized by UNIPRASTAV, Ltd. is very interesting also from the point of view of city Prievidza, the founder of primary schools in the city. We are pleased to find out that even those firms that are interested in the schools exist. The competition organized by UNIPRASTAV, Ltd. is also important in terms of education and the learning process. To materialize the idea the students had to use their imagination, skills, gather information. All this relates to the process of learning not only based on textbooks, but also as a preparation for future occupation. I would like to see other schools to be involved in similar projects, because pupils can help the schools using their ability. And this is an example which proves that it is possible, and the pupils not only got nice memories, but also mainly helped themselves, improving the school environment. Clearly, I incline to similar activities which improve the students´ skills and offer the opportunity to test the tasks practically and finaly cope with them successfully.“

Dagmar Skoncová Dobšinský Elementary School Educator in Prievidza:
"I incline to creative work. The Headmistress of our school asked me to get involved with the competition announced by the company UNIPRASTAV, Ltd. Finally the project inspired me so much that we started to solve it with the children during the morning and the afternoon classes in the school club. I was also interested in using unconventional materials. The children and I have had to obtain such material, which complied with the enunciator´s requirements. The most difficult on the whole project was the idea. As soon as it appeared in my head, the materialization was easy. The children longed for working on something that is different from their normal standard and daily work in school clubs such as painting and drawing. The final design made the children euphoric which was a good sign that our work was a success. "

Second place went to Mariánska Elementary School in Prievidza.
Daniela Porubcová the Headmistress of Elementary School Mariánska:
"Although the last year and the beginning of this year were extremely difficult because we participated successfully in the innovation of our school, we found enthusiasm and strength and we took the chances we got from UNIPRASTAV, Ltd. To make a company brand visible was a challenging task, but to differ from the others and remain original requires more than an idea. Therefore we decided to place the logo in the entrance hall in a visible place. The reward was getting second prize in the competition and a helping hand in organizing our events. The financial suport will help us to improve facilities and equipment in our school"
